A unique infusion, Kenyan Purple Tea is produced from a rare cultivar of the Assamica tea varietal. True to its name, the new growth is tinted purple and contains a high concentration of anthocyanins, the same potent antioxidant found in blueberry. As a result, the liquor has the faintest undertone of amethyst to its typical champagne brew, with soft floral scents and a trace of citrus fruits. The tea offers a medium-bodied taste with a refreshing and clean finish.
