In the foothills of the Himalayas at 3500 feet is a small tea farm in the extreme interiors of Arunachal, Pradesh. A very thinly populated state surrounded by rivers on two sides and covered by dense forests. The tea is processed by Mr Tabem and his family, from plucking to ready for brewing, using methods that retain the fine silvery down on the leaves. When infused, this tea has a coppery liquor with aromas of honeyed cacao and tropical fruits. Smooth and naturally sweet in taste with top notes of roasted nuts, exotic fruits, and cacao flavours.
